(There are things to do other than game?) I like to go camping, kayaking, canoeing, visit museums, go on civil war battlefield trips, see plays, do Halloween parties, go to hardcore metal shows, be involved in progressive politics, organic container vegetable gardening, and design and organize projects.

Game Geeks in South Portland, ME. A well run store with a good solid comunity of gamers.
Good live music (especially hardcore metal), solid gaming experiences, a good well scripted movie, a good party, camping, good conversation (especially with intelligent and rational people), a well produced play, kayaking or canoeing, museum trips, reading, civil war battlefield tours, a nice dinner, a warm summer night (with low humidity), sitting around a fire with friends, and writing a tight scenario.
I particularly dislike lack of rational thinking, poor planning, lack of empathy, poor follow-through, overtly macho stupidity, laziness, religious dogma, the swilling of cheap beer, lack of rudimentary knowledge of history, and overt materialism.
I am a well organized individual that, in effect, runs a small game club centered around, but not exclusive to, my home. I have significant attention to detail. I enjoy reading, writing, camping, and project design and organization. I believe strongly in forming solid long term friendships and I believe that folks need to form communities of friends that provide mutual support.
