I have played a little Warhammer and Battlesystem, Star Fleet Battles, and Space Hulk. Not so into that now, although I picked up Noble Armada.

The only console I own is an old TurboGrafx, so my gaming is done on a PC. I loved all the old rpg games, Wizardy, Ultima, Bard's Tale, Might and Magic, all the old SSI Dungeons and Dragons games, the Elder Scrolls games, Fallout, Diablo, Krondor, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, System Shock, Vampire. I also played Simcity, Civilization, Master of Magic/Master of Orion, Alone in the Dark, Heroes of Might and Magic, Age of Wonders, and three boxes' worth of CD's (I don't have all the old floppy games anymore). I avoid real-time strategy, although I remember Warcraft: Orcs vs Humans fondly. ("Stop poking me!")

I mostly like old rpg-related games, like for Glorantha, Traveller, Stormbringer, Lord of the Rings, Cthulhu and so forth. I also like Battlestations.

|
Haven't done this in many years, although I wrote and ran a game at an SCA event, and I was in on some of the first Nero games. I was also in a video with some Darkon people, that was used for the Gods of War II website.

I've played and run a huge number of rpg's.
I'm interested in playing (or GM'ing if I get desperate):
- Dark Heresy
- Legend of the Five Rings
- Agone
- a Tolkien game of some kind: MERP, ICE, Decipher
- Fading Suns
- Dune RPG
- Warhammer Fantasy
- some version of Tekumel rp'ing
- 7th Sea
- 1st ed AD&D (in Judges Guild's Wilderlands/City States, Mystara, Midkemia, Blackmoor, Lankhmar, Oriental Adventures, Spelljammer, the original Dragonlance series of modules, or Thieves World)
- 2nd ed AD&D or D&D Rules Cyclopedia, worlds as above
- 2nd ed Runequest in Glorantha (especially Prax, or their Oriental setting)
- Stormbringer (any edition)
- Classic Traveller (little black books, in the 3rd Imperium)
- Castles & Crusades, especially the Gygax or Wilderlands materials
- and if I get really, really desperate, I might even play 3.0/3.5/4.0 D&D...
I've also played or run:
Call of Cthulhu,
Gamma World,
Tunnels and Trolls,
Dragonquest,
FASA Star Trek,
Rolemaster,
Chivalry and Sorcery,
Pendragon,
Shadowrun,
Cyberpunk 2020,
Vampire the Masquerade,
GURPS,
Paranoia,
Star Frontiers,
Toon,
Savage Worlds,
Bureau 13,
Harnmaster,
And whatever else I've forgotten...

Let's see, I've tried Kesmai, the old Neverwinter Nights, Gemstone, Yserbius, Meridian 59, The Realm, Ultima, Everquest, Asheron and Anarchy Online. I've played in Neverwinter Nights persistent worlds online as well. And does Second Life count?

I'm also interested in gaming / socializing. Once upon a time, back on the east coast, I played in a group that had a cool arrangement. The gamers brought their significant others, and their kids (if any) along. Everybody had a potluck dinner together, or ordered pizza/chinese/whatever. Then, the gamers/interested spouses/interested kids set up to play the rpg. Those who weren't interested in playing hung out and socialized together (maybe with the TV on), also keeping an eye on the kids, in another room. (Eventually the kids crashed.) In this way we got disinterested spouses interested in playing, we got the kids interested as they grew older, and we had a nice group of friends to socialize with. Spouses didn't feel so neglected, and we could end up expanding the number of players. Interested?

I've been gaming since 1978, and ran a 1st edition AD&D campaign for twenty years. Played and ran lots more games than are listed below, too.
