I like books with words in them . . . Vampires, fae, and weres are my preferred fare these days. LK Hamilton, Patricia Briggs, Spider Robinson, David Eddings, Stephenie Meyer, Katie MacAlister, Carrie Vaughn, and lots more.

Stay up all night with good friends, hang out with my kids, sleep late, stay in bed with my guy 'til 3:00 pm on a Sunday, curl up in sunbeams with a good book, write poetry, paint miniatures, bead, sew, other various crafts, shop, dance, go to ren faires, & daydream.

Sounds usually. My children, my mother, my family, my boyfriend, my friends, my students, my GM (usually in that order).

Best movies EVER:
1. Cyrano de Bergerac (the 1990's version with Gerard Depardieu)
2. The Empire Strikes Back (the original theater version)
3. The Nightmare before Christmas (I have a fondness for characters named Jack.)
4. The Princess Bride (Extremely quotable!)
5. Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (Pirates are COOL.)
6. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (I completely understand Elizabeth's confusion & applaud her tastes of temptation.)
7. Seems Like Old Times (a comedy classic with Chevy Chase & Goldie Hawn)
8. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (They finally turned Will Turner into a proper pirate. And I love Elizabeth as the Pirate King!)
9. Breakfast at Tiffany's (Really, dahling, Audrey Hepburn is exquisite.)
10. Dogma (Funny, crude, smart, & it has George Carlin!)

For TV: CSI (any flavor), The Mentalist, Dr. Who, Total Drama Island, a few good cartoons, Top Chef, Project Runway, Bones, NCIS

North Central MA (New England) . . . Northwest of Nowhere (Courage the Cowardly Dog lives nearby)

Storyteller

Thief, which I can no longer run on my computer. We have a Wii, which I play (poorly) once in a while, and I am oh so slowly getting the hang of playing the guitar on Rock Band.

Cribbage, Scrabble, Chess, Checkers, anything easy, fun and interesting to play.

I teach high school. Every day is a LARP.

D&D, Call of Cthulhu, 7th Sea

Munchkin, cribbage (mentioned twice, I know), Crazy Cottage (which I designed), Guillotine, Mille Bornes, Are You a Werewolf?

People who quit. Rudeness. Stupid comedy. Hot dogs. Diet soda (diet is evil!). Barbecue flavored chips.

The Game Castle in Londonderry, NH.

Sleeping late, basking in sunbeams, falling into a really great book, kickass shoes, my boyfriend, baby laughter, singing ribald drinking songs, and chip flavored chips. I also like the word "minion," my children, watching fish in the aquarium, being on the water (but not usually in it), long hot bubble baths in spectacular bath-friendly tubs, French poetry, my son Seamus' writings, sleepy Liam smiles, a lap full of warm cat, fuzzy slippers, and rum.

My children think I'm crazy. My dog & I agree to disagree about who's in charge. My house is overrun with dice, books, laundry, and vintage 1970's green shag carpeting (wall to wall, of course). I believe I'm cursed to be unable to maintain ownership of kickass red heels. . . Anyone know a remove for that?

I like the city but Im most likely going to be moving up to Nashua since thats where the admins live and I go there about 3 times a week to play with them. I like Call of Cthulhu and normal D&D. I also absolutely love wargaming so, yeah...just a bit of everything.

I'VE PLAYED D&D WITH REDD AND OTHERS SINCE SCHOOL IN THE EARLY 80'S. I,VE PLAYED TRAVELLER, WIERD WEST, AND VARIOUS OTHERS BUT D&D IS BEST BUT I LIKE THE ORIGINAL VERSION. MY CLAIM TO FAME IS THAT I ONCE ASSASSINATED THE DM WITH A 9TH LEVEL ON A 10 TO 15 LEVEL RUN, I HAD TO ROLL A 1  WITH D6 FOR INIT, FOLLOWED BY A 1 WITH D6 FOR SUPRISE FOLLOWED BY A 20 WITH D20 TO HIT AND A 20 WITH D20 TO CONFIRM CRIT THEN HAD TO ROLL 00 WITH D% TO HAVE A DEATH CRIT THEN HAD TO ROLL 00 WITH D% TO ASSASSINATE AND PULLED OT OFF WITH 15 OTHER PLAYERS IN THE GAME. THE DM PACKED UP AND LEFT. THE DM AND ONE OF THE PLAYER WERE IN LEAGUE WITH EACH OTHER AND THE OTHER PLAYER WERE NOT HAPPY WITH HOW THINGS WERE GOING. THE ODDS OF DOING THAT WAS 3HUNDRED AND 44 MILLION TO ONE. SO IVE BEEN TOLD.  I DONT HAVE MUCH TIME FOR GAMES LET ALONE TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH THE COMPUTER AGE WHILE WORKING TWO JOBS. 9AM TO 10PM 5DAYS A WEEK AND SATURDAYS I MAKE HAND BLOWN GLASS FOR MYSELF. SO I GET  SATURDAY NITE THROUGH SUNDAY NITE TO MYSELF.

Thanks for the welcome, C_K!  It's appreciated!  I'm primarily a DnD player, been hooked since 1982...thought I have refused to upgrade to 4e!

Thanks for the welcome.  I've been playing since highschool, but I only just recently REALLY got into gaming.

Mostly d20, though thats largely due to lack of access to anything else, as I've gotten sorta burned on it it of late... just way more complexity then I'm looking for in a game.
