Fantasy and SciFi, novels and short stories. Can't get enough.

The fans of my computer, printer, ceiling, air conditioner, etc. I've never understood the whole iPod thing. I do own hundreds of CDs, but can't bring myself to live with constant noise.

I watch 24 with my wife. Other than that we watch a DVD every week or so. Too many other things to do than sit and stare at a TV screen.

These days, mostly D&D and d20 games. In the past I've played many of the classics (Runequest or Tunnels and Trolls, anyone?), but it's becoming difficult to find groups that stray much from the WoTC mainstream.

On and off Warcraft player. I always get bored by about 20th level.

Ya' heard of Mr. Suitcase? Yeah, I'm that guy. But I've played exceedingly little despite the umpteen thousands of cards I once stockpiled.

Slow internet connections, computers or software that doesn't function as it ought, housework, people and groups who propogandize or otherwise act in a manner that reduces my independence, stupid work meetings and reports.

I live near Memphis, and there's slim pickins in the FLGS basket: Comics and Collectibles has a small RPG, card, and mini offering. Dragon Slayer in Horn Lake has a tiny corner of their store with a few RPG books and minis. And Gamerz Depot in Olive Branch is just getting started (as of June 2008) with mini and card games.

I miss places like Attactix in Aurora, CO, The King's Crown (of ages ago) in Overland Park, KS, and Comic Warehouse outside Toronto.
