Hey, Captain! 

I've mostly played in blues rock and folk groups, and I write a bit in that vein, with a psychedelic bent.  Beyond the usual classic rock suspects (Zeppelin, Yardbirds, BOC, etc), I'm a big fan of Paul Weller, Larks' Tongues-era King Crimson, Bob Mould and a lot of the "shoegazer" type bands from the 90s.  And tons of other stuff...!

My main axe is bass, but I also play guitar and keyboards as well as sing (sorta kinda).

I notice you're a Top Chef fan.  The girlfriend and I are rooting for Stephanie this season!
