MY RATING: 0.00

I enjoy fantasy and some limited selection of science fiction. My favorite series would have to be The Coldfire Trilogy (Black Sun Rising, Crown of Shadows and True night Falls). I tend to prefer smaller self contained books, but every now and then I will read a series like Sword of Truth, Wheel of Time or the Belgariad.

I enjoy Church and Church related activities. Our gamming group is a little different from most in that three of us are active members of our Church (one Deacon and another Teacher). I have heard of some horror stories from others that make me understand why some people think that the two traits are exclusive of one another, but I identify my self as a gamer through n through and do not see it in conflict with being a Christian.

My listening is very limited. I usually only listen to Country and Christian Rock. I used to listen to a lot of alternative rock, but grew out of it.

However every now and then (about once a month) I will decide to listen to some old 80’s rock (what can I say it is what I grew up with).

Superheroes, Science Fiction and Action movies pretty much with out limit. I will watch even a bad Superhero movie for the inspiration of it (Hulk). I own a nice collection of movies all of which fit firmly in one of these three categories.

My favorite TV shows are HEROES and Stargate.

If you have not heard of it, that is because even people who live 40 miles away have not heard of it.

I love miniature games of all sorts but have never been able to get any of my group to play. Although when I lived in spoken I did game a lot at the hobby store, the nearest hobby store to my home now is 35 minutes from my home in Mount Vernon (Docking Bay 93 if anyone is close it is a descent little shop).

Although I enjoy many board games, both main stream and second tier. I still have yet to find a game I love as much as classic Risk. I have a couple different version of Risk and without a doubt love it more than any other game.

I usually play one of four games. Hero System, G.U.R.P.S., Fuzion or my own System Zehn.

I prefer point based games hands down over random roll games and will likely never return to a random roll game. My favorite thing about point based games is the idea that I can make any roll I wish in the setting as long as I can get the GM to buy into it.

I used to play a lot of Magic, however I lost interest when I was 18 or so a long time ago. I still buy cards every now and then just to scan the artwork.

I dislike whining, and angst driven characters. When I begin reading a book and the characters spend as much time whining as they do being protagonist then it ticks me off. Unfortunately it is such a common literary device that I have to live with it, even with some of my favorite books.

The map was generated with a CD I received in dragon magazine a while back. It allowed you to make random dungeons of various sizes and levels for D&D 3. I played with it for a while and made a few maps, then I lost the CD somewhere in my storage shed. The program was called Dungeon Maker.

I love the use of a map as a background.  Is that from any module I might know?
