THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME
Top Ten Things To Know About Me
10. I'm a 49-going-on-22 year old geek with four kids ranging in age from 14 to 20 and the most awesome wife in the world.
9. I'm first generation American, with a Portuguese-Irish-Bermudian background. I speak French and Portuguese.
8. I am a political moderate, and a Christian currently between churches. I'm not a Bible-thumper, and I can't stand Christian music.
7. I am a voracious reader, particularly DC Comics, SF/Fantasy, Horror, but also websites, newspapers, magazines in general.
6. I tend to have my head in the clouds due to all the ideas swirling around my head at any given time. I currently have three novels in the process of being written.
5. I've been playing D&D in one form or another, without stopping, since 1978. I don't like PLAYING it, I liked being the DM.
4. I've seen it all when it comes to gaming, and I don't impress easily. From the mid-80's to about 2001, I've freelanced with TSR, WotC, FASA, Mayfair Games, Flying Buffalo, Chaosium, and West End Games. I've written numerous articles for Dungeon and Dragon, God rest their cancelled souls. I stopped when I realized how little it pays in comparison with the amount of work you do, among other reasons.
3. Despite being very opinionated, outspoken, and sometimes aggressive, I am in fact a softie who really doesn't like confrontation or making a fuss. Heck, I'm even opposed in general to TPK's.
2. I am a creature of habit, very predictable in many ways. I have a very strange sense of humor, that ranges from the sophisticated to fart jokes, sometimes in the same sentence.
1. THIS SPACE AVAILABLE FOR RENT.
Congarts on using the most evil puppet in the world as an avatar. I had a boss once that looked just like Howdy when he got mad. Good fortune to all Curmudgeons!
I have to admit, the Howdy Doody is a bit creepy. Welcome aboard, glad you found us. Look forward to seeing you at OGC, if not before. Feel free to join the OGC group here on the site. Kelly
