MY RATING: 0.00

Working, obviously. Taking care of my family.. Filling textboxes with written stuff about me.

I really enjoyed watching Heroes. One of the best series ever created, at least in my humble opinion, which counts the most for me and myself, since I have to rely on it. ^^ Can't wait for the third volume.. "Villains" ..hmmm :)
Pixar-Movies. There were some damn hard laughs. I'm SO excited about Wall-E. Isn't he the cutest?

Mostly stuff involving heavy guitars... but I guess that's no surprise 'round here.
Some of my all-time-favorites include:

  • Bolt Thrower
  • Iced Earth (before Owens and before Schaffer made a completely implausible fool out of himself. Oh how the mighty have fallen..)
  • Sentenced. (R.I.P.)
  • Forbidden (Upcoming Reunion-Show 2008 in Germany - yay!)
  • At the Gates (R.I.P. - ?)
  • Hypocrisy
  • PAIN

uhm.. *scratchsehead* *checksplaylist* ..nah. could go on and on forever. I'm a maniac.

ATM:

  • You Suck: A Love Story by Christopher Moore
  • Smilla's Feeling for snow - Peter Høeg
  • Rogue Trader I: Rogue Star by Andy Hoare
Last year's memorable notes:

  • The Horus Heresy-Series. The first two books were awesome, the rest is still good. Great setting nonetheless.
  • The complete Civil War-Series by Marvel. The perfect mixture of classic oldschool comics and an all-new setting with some political touch to it. Great.
  • I really enjoyed reading Mary-Janice Davidson's Vampire-Queen novels. Betsy is the perfect cliché wrap-out.
  • The Dark Heresy-Rulebook. Great looks, great innards. Pricy, but entirely worth it. Plus, it's WH40k ^^
  • "The Dark Knight Returns" by the-guy-from-300-and-sincity-whose-name-I-forget-all-the-time... Miller maybe? anyway, another great redo of a great characer that makes him even more interesting.

Southern Germany....

uhm... no.

In no particular order (maybe except rulebook's order in the rack):

D&D 3rd
Shadowrun
Earthdawn
Traveller
Paranoia!
Dark Heresy
Deadlands

I guess there are a few more, but none I played more often than a few times.. maybe I missed something..

Warhammer 40k and it's specialist's offsprings (Necromunda, Battlefleet Gothic - Inquisitor's missing though... yet)
Oh, and BloodBowl ^^ Though I sucked big time..

Yes, please.
Everything from Klaus Teuber, some more or less exotic variations of Risk (2210 rocks, as well as the latest Transformer-SpinOff - Great improvements there)..
And the classics of course.. From Trivial Pursuit to Backgammon ;) And yeah, I suck at chess.

*shakeshead* too cheap for something real, too picky for something free.
Played City of Villains for half a year.. 't was fun, I guess. Just too expensive for my tastes (quoth the wargamer..erm...right).
Oh, and I played 2Moons (NA-Version of Dekaron) - great gameplay, boring grinding - what a waste.

So: No, no WoW, no Guild Wars (tried it once, ran away and hid myself), and no Warhammer Online as well - which I regret just a little bit.

But I'm open for this kind of stuff, so if you run into THE free MMOG of the decade, please feel free to tell me about it ^^

Not anymore, at least not that regular. Again, no particular order, just an overview of my taste:

Diablo, Hellfire, Diablo II, LoD
Starcraft (Kerrigan rocks!)
FarCry (best german computer game ever)
Crysis (second best german computer game ever ;)
Dawn of War, Dark Crusade, Soulstorm (WA sucked ^^)
All kinds of abandonware and "classic console gaming" stuff - can you say "Super Metroid"? Or maybe "Ascendancy"? ^^

Dark Heresy, Miniature Painters, Warhammer 40,000

  • Music - can't live without it. I fear I'd wither away if I can't hear it anymore.
  • My little offspring - he's gonna achieve some great things in his life. Trust me.
  • My wife, at least most of the time.
  • In a strange and completely platonic way, computers. Aren't they grand, the little suckers?
  • Wait, I'm somewhat uncreative here...
  • Singing (loud)
  • Explosions
  • [play=hs.wav]"HeadShot!"[/play]
  • The smell of leather
  • Wearing leather :P
  • Creating unforgettable evenings of heart-touching heroic/tragic action using my imagination and some six-sided dice..or something like that
  • Writing. Maybe I'll quit work someday (when the house is paid and stuff) to write classy novels. *giggles*
  • placeholders... I really like placeholders.. especially while working on the visuals of a profile.. ^^

of course there are more things I like, but I'm feeling a tad rusty today.. so I'll leave it here

  • placeholders..
  • The lack of any self-discipline: if one can't control himself, who will?
  • Mean Drunks: if you can't control yourself, I will!
  • The lack of certain manners: it's okay to dislike people (I do it all the time), but do it with some style!
  • "Rule Lawyers": Keep the f**k out of my games
  • Munchkins: okay, this one is a narrow path, since I perceive myself as a considerable powergamer, depending on the system. But some things are taboo even for me. Bearded Elves and wired reflexes combined with Move-by-wire, for instance. Heavy Armor and swimming, for another one.
  • Raisins
  • Alcohol in any form
  • Spineless creatures of all kinds, be it animals or humans.
that's enough for today...

Beware!
I'm a Paladin in black painted armor
Strange behaviour may occur... Besides, English's not my native tongue, so please ignore minor errors and uglies..[il]

Wow you profile is amazing. Do you do any wed disgine?

If by that you mean "web design" . o O ( :P ), than actually no ^^ But I know the basics and some Photoshop, so it works out pretty well ;) Most of it was making the profile itself transparent so the background-image comes to show.. but thanks for your praise.

And oh, your "contact" had exactly the right tip for me.. great man, I think - I hope! - I'll do some more design-stuff with him in the future ;)
