Spectrum Games is a very small publisher of hobby games. What we lack in budget, we make up for in quality and attention to our customers. Two of our products have been nominated for multiple Origins awards and are critically acclaimed.

Other: Vintage wrestling matches, preferably ones from the 1950s and '60s. My favorite wrestlers are: Lou Thesz, Killer Kowalski, "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers, Gorgeous George, Gene Kiniski, Edouard Carpentier, Red Bastien, Verne Gagne, Nick Bockwinkel, Bruiser Brody, Don Leo Jonathan, The Spoiler, Dean Malenko and Samoa Joe.
|
Death metal, black metal, doom metal and thrash metal. My favorite bands include Death (R.I.P., Chuck), Morbid Angel, Nocturnus, Public Assassin, Nuclear Death, Deicide, Vital Remains, In Flames (old), Overkill, Testament, Slayer, Exodus, Possessed, Celtic Frost, Candlemass, Rigor Mortis, Rotting Christ, Witchery, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Finntroll, Carcass, Arch Enemy, Demonic Christ, Malevolent Creation, Bolt Thrower, Entombed (old) and Hate Eternal.

|
Nearly anything that Lovecraft penned (especially The Colour Out of Space, The Haunter of the Dark, The Whisperer in Darkness, Pickman's Model, Cool Air, The Unnameable, and The Shunned House), A Game of Thrones, Golden/Silver/Bronze Age comicbooks and GI Joe comicbooks.

Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2 (soft cover): Coming in November or December 2008. This is the b&w softback version of the PDF book. It will retail for approximately $28.
Deluxe Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2 (hard cover): Coming in November or December 2008. This is the full-color hardback version of the PDF book. It will retail for approximately $55 and will contain some new material.
Urban Manhunt: The dark-future deathsport non-collectible card game wherein the players take on the role of Hunters who compete with one another to eliminate the most criminals across a desolate cityscape... all for the entertainment of the television audience! Inspired by 1970s and '80s films such as Escape From New York, The Running Man and The Warriors.
Crime Street: The definitive film noir sourcebook for the Savage Worlds game system. The shadows are long and stark in the asphalt jungle and those who inhabit them are largely amoral, ambiguous souls who flaunt their greed and corruption like trophes. You are one of those souls.
After These Messages: The first sourcebook for Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2. It's the perfect companion to the rulebook, offering new optional rules, expanded rules for Giant Transforming Robots, advice for adapting the game to anime, two new series, and much more!

Hypocrisy, closed-mindedness, the Free Credit Report TV commercials, sports, non-extreme music (I've tried to like it, but I just can't!), organized religion (no offense to those who believe in that sort of thing; I don't dislike the folks who engage in it... it's the organizations themselves), blind patriotism and wanna-be's.

CARTOON ACTION HOUR: SEASON 2 PDF AVAILABLE NOW!
November 1, 2008; Parsons, KS.
Spectrum Games is proud to announce the release of Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2. The second edition of the Origins-nominated RPG can now be obtained as a PDF by directing a payment to our Paypal account (smbateman@gmail.com). Spectrum Games is offering the product at the discounted price of $16 until Monday, November 3rd, at which point, it will return to the normal price of $18. Upon making an order, please send an email to us at cynthia.spectrumgames@gmail.com so we can send you the download URL.
According to Spectrum Games president, Cynthia Celeste Miller, “This product has been in the works for over three years and it feels great to finally make it available to the public. The changes made to the system are quite drastic, but I strongly feel that they make Cartoon Action Hour a better game. While the first edition did an adequate job of capturing the feel of the retro-toons, the second edition embodies everything that made the retro-toons cool. Plus, it’s simpler, faster playing and more intuitive than its predecessor. In fact, we have almost eliminated the need for in-game record-keeping.”
Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2 will be released as a hardcopy product in late November or early December. The primary version will be a black and white soft cover volume, though Spectrum Games will be releasing a special edition direct-sales version as well. The special edition version will be a full-color hardcover volume with some additional material added to the mix. The estimated prices will be $28 and $55, respectively.
For those wishing to take a look at the game can do so by checking out the free demo rules document as well as a complete chapter from the book.

I began playing the drums in 1984 and quit playing them in 1991. In April of 2008, I picked up the sticks again and have been drumming ever since.
I have been in a relationship with Lestasia (also a member here now) for 16 years, something I'm very proud of.
