Playing country western music that makes fun of country western music... Most people don't get it though. www.myspace.com/stumblebums. Used to play in some kind of hybrid punk/grind/noise band that everyone hated www.leagueofstruggle.com

I used to be all high and mighty and superior about listening to punk rock like GBH, UK Subs, Black Flag, Crass and then I started listening to the Minutemen and Firehose and chilled out with my pompous leather jacket wearing arse. Now I listen to whatever the hell I like but it's still mostly crap like 7000 Dying Rats, Agent Orange, Kylesa, Los Infernos, but I'm not such a prick about other people's musical tastes anymore.

You remember those poorly dubbed Italian zombie movies you used to rent from the mom n' pop video stores? The ones you'd grit your teeth through and sometimes watch them halfway through before declaring that it stinks and returning it? Those are the movies I love. Those and the Italian Road Warrior rip offs like Endgame, Bronx Warriors: 1990, Texas Gladiators 2020. The real high brow, cerebral, and pretentious stuff. I play wargames in about the same style.
Television? Twin Peaks, The Prisoner, The Avengers... Nothing really in current syndication besides that Lost show sometimes. I also watch far too much Mystery Science Theater 3000 to be considered healthy.

Ah, every Friday I get drunk on beer and Bloody Caesars and we play something. Sometimes it's the loosest game of 40K in the world, sometimes Fantastic Worlds sci-fi pulp, Ultimate Warzone, Baptism by Fire 1st edition WWII, I have a real soft spot for Astounding Tales! 2nd edition and use it for just about everything I can dream up. 5150 by Two Hour Wargames also sees some action occasionally. I spend about 90% of my wargaming time hiding in my study painting figures and building terrain, though.

Space Hulk, Dungeon Quest, Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Memory, Don't Spill the Beans.
I play at lot of the latter boardgames during the week.

I played three times in a vampire LARP. When the storyteller produced an idea of cats that shot lightning out of their butts and the entire Camarilla switched to Sabbat between session sans myself and like four other players I quit and decided to go play bad music instead.

Is it bad that I know nothing about Dungeons and Dragon 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.1? I played 1st edition even when 2nd edition was out cause I liked my monks and assassins.
Don't have much time to game anymore but I enjoy The Burning Wheel, Dogs in the Vineyard, FUDGE: The Collectors, and other games I have a hard time getting people to play with me. I finally got my copy of Aftermath! returned after like 15 years and it indeed should be called Calculus! What were they thinking?

I played Magic: The Cashcow when it came out but quit when... was it Legends? that overpowered expansion came out.
Played Jyhad before it was the Eternal Struggle. Got most of the cards in giant bricks for like a dolllar when the hobby shops were clearing them out.
Don't really play them anymore.

Attention whores, seafood, people in general... Ah, I'm just a misanthrope.

I have nothing much to say about myself. I'm a mundane kind of guy that gets drunk on Fridays and plays wargames. The rest of the week I'm trying not to annoy my wife as I cut out cardstock models and paint little toy figures obsessively. A woman wearing striped tights, nylons, stockings, etc. makes me weak in the knees and forgetful of all things in exclusion to that fashion for some reason (blame those pent up angsty teen punk years). I try to not geek culture my two kids too much but I fear it might be too late. I am one poor musician both financially and talent-wise so it's a good thing that being a musician is just another hobby.
