This Saturday is Tanks-giving at my local GW store and I've been asked to bring the thunder in the form of a Warlord Titan. I'm looking to dominate so I'm creating more weapon options for the Warlord. Today I built 2 Vortex Missiles. Why? Cause who doesn't like the absolutely devastating hell storm of 2 (count 'em TWO!) Destructor strength, 10" templates raining down on their enemy's heads? Tomorrow they get the paint brush!

This Tuesday as with most at my FLGS it's "Craft Night". But also it was cheesy horror movie night!! I brought the pain and my fellow crafters reaped the rewards!! So I tinkered with some ideas about building a few of these for my Apocalyptic forces. A guy at my last Apocalypse battle built a custom Weirdboy Tower for his Orks and used some Necromunda plastic wall sections for the under carriage. GW store require a 51% GW components to use something in their stores. Seems fair. Their stores, their rules. Don't like, don't play there. In the beginning I intended Overkill to be a two-model Warlord. My first battle with her proved my theory a good one. The Banelord can be a lot of fun to field unless all you roll is 1’s and 6's. That was my problem last Saturday. Of the four turns she participated in, I only managed to have her either go Fire Frenzy or Blood Rage. And even though I went in to the battle with a mindset of "just have fun and let's see where this will go" it got irritating quick.

IT'S DONE!!!

I finished painting it Friday evening and brought it down for the last Lucky 13 Apocalypse event at my local GW store Saturday. She performed pretty well and raised hell like all good Titans should!
Now that I finally have Overkill done I can sit back and relax till the next project materializes in my noggin.
In the following weeks I'm going to build her some extra guns for swapping out and add kill banners.
