I'm going to Add this set of Blogs, on Gamesmaster Discoveries, In which I will explore aspect of gaming that probably most people would never have a clue about the reality of. In the past I have tested Knife Damage on Pumpkins, Fireballs and Burn Damage, Outdoor Night and visual ability, Stealth, Combat Speed in fencing classes and many other smaller tests.. Call these 'Myth Busters for Dungeon Masters' if you will. For Today, I'll be adding: Real dungeons and Candles. For the modern gamer, its... Read More

Wars, Fours, and Curvy Horns
After reading and playing here and there, even DM'ing once, I have some more thoughts on 4th Edition: I really hate the ram horns and the big meaty alligator tails on the tieflings. Hate. Them. I hated them as soon as I saw them, and I hate them more every day, especially since they all have them now. For the most part, though, the new background stuff in fourth edition D&D is pretty cool. I like their arrangement of the planes, the way demons and devil... Read More

Return to the Statues?
Haiti in Roleplay can disturb the flow of the story, disturb the events, and causes confusion with the players.. Basic D&D: I want to run it
So recently, I came into possession of couple of sets of D&D basic rules in pretty good condition. I looked over the rules, feeling a bit nostalgic and thought about running a game. Of course, everyone and their brother has done Basic D&D, so how would one make it new? What if that was all there was?The campaign setting would go something like this: Once upon a time, a... 12/29/08 The New Look
The new style, Celestial, has gone live! We hope you like it. If you preferred the old look you can go to your account page and set it as your default style. To do this scroll down your account page, look on the left hand side of your screen, and you will see a box called Themes. You can choose between the classic RPGBomb style or the fresh new Celestial look. We will be updating the themes list with more styles as time goes on, so keep an eye out!
Thank you and have a Happy New Year!,
