My most excellent friend Ted gave me a Goblin Shredder from the new World of Warcraft CMG!! It is very cool and a well painted model. It's practically a Rembrant compared to the finger painted Heroclix and Dungeons and Dragons crap I see being churned out series after series. Crap now I want to get into that game too. It seems like it is popular for people to put up lists of what they are crafting and painting on their Blogs. Some put up lists of what they have painted and others a sort of painting contract. I know myself and what I'm like, so I'm going with the "what I finished list" in favor of some impossible schedule to keep up with.
I'll try to keep it up to date. After compiling it I counted up what I did and was surprised to find I managed to get 104 things completed. Not bad when a year has 365 day... Read More

Whenever I paint, usually when it’s a challenging project, I reach a point where I look at the figure and go “this is going to look like [insert expletive here].”  Usually it is around the halfway point but some times prior.  I think it is lack of faith in my plan of how I’m going to paint the fig (the way a sculptor sees what they are going to sculpt out of their medium).  I can’t yet see the final product, just a basecoated mass which does not yet have form or function...
