Richard Lee Byers
Over the past few years, I have been picking up the novels of this guy. And I have to say, Byers goes places where I like to think about. I wasn't wild about his Dissolution (2002), but it was set in the Drow spheres of influence in the Underdark of the Forgotten Realms. He did really get into the mindset of the Drow, and work on some pretty large scale sub-plots. My FR Campaign
Well this is my current campaign which will be ending sometime this year (after 12 years of play), but of course that depends on how crazy my player's decide to get. Curmudgeonly Ramblings: The New Campaign
With the summer down to its last third, it's time for our gaming group to reset. Having sort-of finished the Masks of Nyarlathotep campaign super-module, it's time to get back to our regular favorite, D&D (3.5 of course), in our favorite setting, Forgotten Realms. (speaking of Forgotten Realms, even though I already knew a bunch of stuff about what was happening with the realms in 4.0, I decided "what the hell" and thumbed through a copy of the 4.0 realms hardcover yesterday when I bo... I will have to buy it
Ok, to start with lets say I'm not so much impressed by d&d4.0 ...Any case the people behind it at wotc will succeed in making me buying the Forgotten realms updated setting.I just want to see how they will fit in races like the Dragonborns or even better the Tieflings. Will they spoil FR too, with such things that have no ties at all with the game and the setting??? ...
