Several Hours Later
Several Hours Later “Lay down some fire over there to the left, hose it good, before we charge the house.” We are a good Imperial Mile to two Miles into the city ruins, well past the front lines. No armour is left with us, the tanks made it as far as they could without getting stuck in the damage. They did say if we get close enough to the Thames and the waterfronts that the Royal Navy might be able to lend a hand. Not sure how to tell them where to lend that hand at. All... Read More

It's just like school, except at home!
My partner Paula and I will begin homeschooling our two daughters this fall, and I've been mulling over different ways to bring roleplaying into the teaching process.Sure, there are historic RPGs we could play -I have a ton of GURPS sourcebooks for a bunch of different time periods and cultures - but I'm thinking of something beyond history, too. Blue's Story
So I claimed to be a writer of some sort, and in lieu of a rant tonight I decided to post a little piece that was inspired by both the White Wolf game Exalted and the style of Robert E. Howard. I warn you, this is a little long. Blue's story Blue was born in the winter, and he was named so because of the color of his eyes—as blue as an icy lake in winter. When every boy in the tribe came of age, he must go out into the wilderness on a vision quest. So on the eve of his ei... Read More
