The Philosophy of Wargame Design (or beating your head in with a slice...
Like almost every wargamer out there I have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to periods of wargaming, projects, and sticking things out until completed. I'll buy a shed load of miniatures and paint about half before seeing another bright n' shiny and abandon the current miniatures and terrain in order to start on something else. This leads to a cluttered workbench filled with something akin to a set up for a Heroes in Hell with Yardies facing off against undead Roman Centurion... Read More

Skirmish '08 report
Well, Skirmish '08 is now come and gone. The stress of putting a game together, building the terrain, painting the figures, and trying to entertain some gamers is gone until next year. Skirmish is primarily a historicals convention and this is its third year and they have always been kind enough to allow my decidedly cracked games in and it's been commented that each year the game gets better and better. Two vehicles arrive at an old farm house. They have been tracking the suckheads for months and ha... Read More

Occult Wars – A Review (long)
Occult Wars – A Review By SeattleGamer I admit it . . . I’m a sucker for anything that will let me game zombies. I can’t honestly say what my fascination is with the little buggers. Perhaps it’s because they were (and remain) the ONLY horror construct which has ever cost me sleep. Perhaps it’s because my girlfriend was so terrified after seeing Dawn of the Dead (the original) at a midnight movie theater all those years ago, that she insisted I sneak up to her room to check in... 12/29/08 The New Look
The new style, Celestial, has gone live! We hope you like it. If you preferred the old look you can go to your account page and set it as your default style. To do this scroll down your account page, look on the left hand side of your screen, and you will see a box called Themes. You can choose between the classic RPGBomb style or the fresh new Celestial look. We will be updating the themes list with more styles as time goes on, so keep an eye out!
Thank you and have a Happy New Year!,
