This Saturday is Tanks-giving at my local GW store and I've been asked to bring the thunder in the form of a warlord Titan. I'm looking to dominate so I'm creating more weapon options for the Warlord. Today I built 2 Vortex Missiles. Why? Cause who doesn't like the absolutely devastating hell storm of 2 (count 'em TWO!) Destructor strength, 10" templates raining down on their enemy's heads? Tomorrow they get the paint brush!

IT'S DONE!!!

I finished painting it Friday evening and brought it down for the last Lucky 13 Apocalypse event at my local GW store Saturday. She performed pretty well and raised hell like all good Titans should!
Now that I finally have Overkill done I can sit back and relax till the next project materializes in my noggin.
In the following weeks I'm going to build her some extra guns for swapping out and add kill banners.

Well the last month or so has seen spurts of progress on the Warlord. I've got her all primed and painted, but still need to make the flags and banners. I also built the Banelord cockpit.
Monday and Tuesday I constructed the tail from plastic split loom, paper-thin plasticard and coaxial cable for the spine of it. Latest batch off of the gaming table.  First up is a Reaper warlord figure that I converted from a fantasy figure to an acolyte for 40k/Dark Heresy.  I cut off a horn on back and added a bag with a lasrifle in it and put a pistol in its hand.  It has a warhammer which is very appropriate for Dark Heresy.  This figure could be a priest, an adept of some kind or even a psyker.

Is that a Vulcan Mega-Bolter in your pocket?? ...or, I'm bringing the Dakka!!!

It's a little boxy for my liking but in the end it came out pretty good. This is my first from scratch Vulcan Mega-Bolter. For the Biledriver I used a Spawn action figure Minigun and mounted it on 40mm base on a peg. This time I wanted to try to build it from the ground up. The barrels are from an I-MEX Chemical Plant.
