A True Story: My first paranormal experience
Well, this might not be my first experience, but it is my first really memorable one. All the ones before also happened here. I was a teenager, more than twenty-five years ago. The house I grew up in was old, over a hundred years old, not far from the center of Keene, NH. It had once been a duplex, with one home on the first floor and one on the second. My father had bought the house from both families, and he converted the second floor into bedrooms for my parents and their four sons. I... Read More

All Thee Dysk's a Stage: Dress Rehearsal
Last night's playtest of the GURPS Discworld adventure went well. We identified rough spots in the action, and I got some good feedback on how to refine the presentation and execution of the player characters. But beyond ample use of the word "grave-robber" in the play-test sessions, where I alwa... Read More

Strange World Part 1
Robin Hood forest is a lot bigger than people realize. Like nearly all woods in New Hampshire, it stretches out from the town that gave it its name and connects with other forests to build a network of trees that covers much of the state. Most people just stay on the trails and think its just part of the park, but there is so much more. I've made it a personal goal to explore the forest so completely that it will be impossible to get lost. That's when it happened; when my eyes opened wi... Read More
