Ok, my arms been twisted and so we are going to have a D&D Play by Post game. Everyone is welcome to play in this game, regardless of RPG experience, but I can’t run a PBP with more then 8 players so sign up soon.
I have some house rules.
Character creation:
Level:
We are starting at 1st level! I'm generous w/ the XP so you'll advance quickly.
Stats:
We are using the point buy system. Your heroes are going to be epic so each character starts out with 32 points for their stats. If you are not familiar with the point buy system you may visit page 169 of the 3.5 DMG. I will also have some pre-gens for those of you not wanting to create your own.
Race & Class: Any race and class from the core PHB is acceptable. If anyone wants an exception please post race and class and which book they can be found in. I will review them for approval.
Note: non PHB feats and/or equipment are the same as above.
Alignment: All characters have to be “heroes” That means your alignment can be whatever you want…. as long as your actions in game convey the following: exceptional courage and nobility of purpose, a champion of justice, a defender of the innocent, a terror of beings that harm and exploit the weak, value life, willing to sacrifice his/her own life for others/greater good.
For the setting: I will be using a place out of Pathfinder called the DarkMoon Vale. It is a typical D&D place with ruins, a forest, a mountain, a wilderness town and lots of adventure. (Knowledge of this setting is NOT required to play in this game.)
Synopsis: It’s D&D! You’re going to solve some mysteries, rescue some NPCs, barter with greedy merchants, have riveting dialogue with villains, visit mythical locations and of course kill things and take their stuff!
