For Bruce Campbell Fans
I am a fan of Bruce Campbell.  It started with Evil Dead but true fandom came with the reading of his book, If chins could kill, confessions of a B movie actor.  I had the chance to meet him on his tour for the Man With the Screaming Brain.  His Q&A and stories were great.  The movie, sadly, was not.  I have not made it through the whole thing yet and I've tried twice.

But he is still cool.  I still like his work and I've heard word that he is starting another tour for ... My Name is Bruce!

He will be coming through the New England area around early November but also hitting other parts of the country.  I know a few of you have commented on my picture I have posted with him so here's your chance to spend 2.3 seconds with man who put the S in S-Mart!  If you get the chance, I recommend it, if only to hear his stories directly from the source.  He is a wonderful story teller with a truly off-beat sense of humor.

Now go shop smart!!

Absolutely awesome.  I just finished the audio book, Make Love the Bruce Campbell way and it was hilarious, I also love pretty much everything he's done except the Man with the Screaming Brain, it was pretty bad.m  I'll have to pick up if chins could kill.  I'll see if Lisa and I can break away from life to go see him in person.  Thanks for the info :)

I have a signed copy of Make Love the Bruce Campbell way. I had it signed at the Screaming Brain Tour. If you thought that was good, you'll probably like the Chins book.  Great insights into the making of Evil Dead and some really funny stories about him as kid.

The biggest downer about the new tour is that he will be in Boston on Nov 7th, the start of Carnage.   I can't be in two places at once.  I might try to hit the New Haven, CT date the following week.  Will have to wait to see how time and funds run.  I know my daughter would love to see him along with a few of her friends.  Such is my life...so many cool things to do, never enough time, never enough money but I won't deny someone else having some fun just cause I can't so I share the news.  If you want to try for the CT date on the 11th, let me know.  Maybe we could make it an RPGBomb meet-up and really have a blast all together w/ eats and drinks before or after??
