On Wednesday, October 1, I will be running an online RPG event via chat.
This is a demo of Carnivore Games' upcoming RPG Strange World. It'll be a one-shot event with characters supplied.

What it is: A live one-shot (convention style) gaming event on IRC chat.
Storyteller: Bradford Younie, author of Strange World and Now Playing.
Cost: Nothing, it's free fun!
How it works
Six lucky people will get to play the game with me on the above IRC channel
(details on how to access the IRC channel without the web interface is at
the bottom of this email). Only the Storyteller (me) and the players can
"talk" on the channel. Everyone else is welcome to lurk and watch the game!

This is a Fudge game being published by Carnivore Games about Paranormal
Investigation. You get to play "real" (or realistic) people and hunt ghosts,
UFOs, Bigfoot and other paranormal phenomena. The game is both a great
Storytelling Game, and a non-fiction resource on the paranormal.
The Event: "Little Susie's Doll"
The Carpenters have been plagued by strange events at their house. Footsteps
in the hallway with no one there, faucets turning on by themselves,
cupboards opening on their own, and finally Stewart Carpenter was shoved
down the stairs by his daughter who stood laughing as he fell. The couple
fears that their daughter is the victim of demoniac possession, and wants
your team of paranormal investigators to verify it before going to a priest.

- Father John "Papa Jack" Winfield, SJ: Jesuit priest, and cult investigator
