Banelord - Khorne Warlord Titan Project - Part 9
Well the last month or so has seen spurts of progress on the Warlord. I've got her all primed and painted, but still need to make the flags and banners. I also built the Banelord cockpit.
Monday and Tuesday I constructed the tail from plastic split loom, paper-thin plasticard and coaxial cable for the spine of it. Slipped inside the split loom was cash register rolls with the coaxial snaked through all the segments. Then the plastic card was wrapped around the sections with the rolls in it. Finally a skull with Battlecannon barrel jutting out of its mouth will finish the tail.
Today I had a bigger burst of creativity when building the Doomfist and Havoc Launcher for the Banelord version. The cool part was that many of the components came from my local GW store when they recently dumped all their left over project parts. Tomorrow I will finish the Havoc Launcher and build the Hellstrike Cannon right arm.
Then hopefully Friday I will paint the last of the piece, print out the banners and flags, all so I can raise some hell Saturday for an Apocalypse battle.
On a side note I have two Titan frames (torso, legs, arms) I'm going to be putting up for sale. They are unfinished. In other words they have no details or weapons. But if you want to build a titan and want to skip the hard part of building and skip right to the arming and painting of it this would be your chance. I will try to have pictures of the frames up this weekend. You can email with inquiries.

12/29/08 The New Look


The new style, Celestial, has gone live! We hope you like it. If you preferred the old look you can go to your account page and set it as your default style. To do this scroll down your account page, look on the left hand side of your screen, and you will see a box called Themes. You can choose between the classic RPGBomb style or the fresh new Celestial look. We will be updating the themes list with more styles as time goes on, so keep an eye out!
