Event Registration goes Live on Sunday, April 19th
It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Event Registration starts this Sunday (April 19th) with True Dungeon tickets going live at 12 pm (Eastern) and all other tickets going live at 3 pm (Eastern). Remember you must have a RUBI account and have purchased a badge in order to buy event tickets.
You can download the Event Catalog at Community.gencon.com to review all of the events being held at Gen Con Indy 2009.
RUBI Account Reminder - Everyone will need a new RUBI account in order to purchase badges or event tickets for Indy 2009. Once you have created your account, you will need to activate it using the link provided in your confirmation email. Any friends you add to your Friends List will also need to create a RUBI account and accept your Friend Request in order for you to purchase badges or event tickets for them. Go to www.genconreg.com to create your account or add your Friends.
Premier Event Groups
Each year, hundreds of GMs come to Gen Con and run thousands and thousands of amazing events. We wanted to start recognizing their contribution to what makes the convention so wonderful, so in 2009 we have launched the Premier Events Reward Program as a way to celebrate and reward those companies and gaming groups that run some of the most exciting and best-attended games at Gen Con.

True Dungeon at Gen Con 2009
There will be MORE True Dungeon this year than ever before! We will have FOUR completely different adventures to try your luck at.
“The Five Aspects”
This two-hour adventure is a greatly updated version of the first ever True Dungeon module which ran back in 2003. It will have enhanced sets and props – as well as costumed NPCs and cool special effects. Since the module has been altered a great deal, XP is available to ALL players (in both normal and NIGHTMARE settings) regardless if they played the original 2003 module. (8-player/$38 per ticket, includes a free token pack)
“With Smoak Comes Fire”
This two-hour adventure is a brand new module for 2009, and it will be available in both normal and NIGHTMARE mode. This is the first adventure in a two-part story arc that will dramatically conclude at Gen Con 2010. (8-player/$38 per ticket, includes a free token pack)
Mini-Quest: “Getting In”
In response to many requests we are providing a one-hour adventure whose focus is more on fun and action with less complicated rules. This is a great introductory event for TD newbies, and can be enjoyed by TD Vets as well who want a fun hour of adventure. No outside tokens can be used, but some will be provided inside the event. All players receive a prize at the end for playing. (6-player/$24 per ticket)
“True Grind”
We are providing a cool event for those fans who love combat. Adventurers must survive an onslaught of hungry monsters as they seek to save a city from a monster summoning spell gone awry. This event has received much praise from play testers who enjoyed the excitement of a one-hour battle. (8-player/$20 per ticket)

True Dungeon Tokens NOW On Sale and Almost SOLD OUT!
Treasure Tokens continue to be in high demand, and they are back again with many new items. The 2009 pre-Gen Con Indy collection is almost sold out, so place your order NOW if you wish to get some of the newest tokens.
Token bags are $10 for a 10-pack that contains 7 Common, 2 Uncommon and 1 Rare token. Each player receives one of these ultra-cool token 10-packs free at the start of their TD two-hour adventure.
Two Golden Tickets Remain!
We have TWO Golden Tickets remaining, so you still have a chance to get one of the random ultra-cool tokens in your treasure token order. They will allow you to play in the “Golden Ticket Run” on Thursday morning at the show. Sixteen lucky gamers will be the first to experience the True Dungeon adventures, and will receive a VERY cool prize pack of uber-rare tokens.

Gen Con Staying in Indy – Check out the future dates
Gen Con has signed an extension with the Indiana Convention Center to stay in Indianapolis through 2015. We are very excited as Indy is great for Gen Con! We look forward to our continued partnership with the City of Indianapolis! The future dates are:
