A few months ago I publsihed on http://www.instructables.com a way to make miniature islands for the Constructable Card GamePirates of the Spanish Main (by Wizkids)
Although this is not the only way to do things like this, it's the way I figured out to do it by looking at other similar projets.
Yes! The link works. I like the simple lay out of the step by step instructions. I am going to pass it along to my sister. My nephew loves mini's (had a great time w/the WizKids at TotalCon this year too) but she has no clue how to help him advance with this hobby. Sites like yours are a great intro! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, it turned out better then I had hoped. I got quite a few comments on it too. With a little practice you can make just about anything out of anything. I hope your nephew gets lots of ideas out of this. I have another one planned on a Miniature Modular Map Maker using many of the same techniques.
