I mentioned yesterday on my other blog that I wanted to play a superhero game. Today a GM by the name of Mike invited me to join his new group to play White Wolf's Aberrant RPG. The twist is this group is playing all super villains. So as a group we all made our new villain characters. Since we are all just starting out we decided that we would try to work together to take over the town we live in. Though at some point, since we are EVIL, I will have to prepare for the eventual betrayal by my team mates. It would be nice if we all just went our separate ways. Of course graveyards are full of people who hoped for the best and never prepared. Blogging it here may not be brilliant but I don't have to tell them what my plans are... Mu-ha ha ha ha!!!
My villain is a very powerful mega-morph, with super strength and toughness. I'm still thinking up a name. I'm currently trying to remove the gang element from the city (Pittsburgh) we play in, so to take it over more easily. Some of the players want to work with the local gangs to use them as foot soldiers. But as a character with a serve mental bend toward order he doesn't like their disorderly influence. As a villain that can change shape to anything he pleases, including anyone he has had sufficient time to observe, the local gangs are freaking out as members they've know for a long time go berserk killing them. I even pitched a particularly annoying one into orbit. He threw a grenade at me after all. I wonder if the shuttle crew will see him on one of their orbits? My character will have to keep an eye on the news for the next day till his orbit decays.
So far the other characters are with me and instead are working with the organized crime families. But in the end I think they will have to go too as sharing power with powerless mundanes is no fun and in bad taste. My character believes the universe didn't give him super powers just so he can hob knob with mere humans. Shaaa-right!
