At least that’s what we hope all of you think. Those of us here at RPGBOMB have heard from many of you and your responses are overwhelmingly positive. This is of great comfort to us. The commitment to this site, in both money and time, has been significant for all of us and it is gratifying to know you approve. The idea for this site was first conceived by Nine Hands (John Sussenberger) almost a year ago now. John approached me and said "Hey, I have this great idea and it’s going to cost you a lot of money to get it started and oh, did I mention we are going to give it all away for free?" Needless to say I was not immediately excited. John pitched his idea to me and it was a good idea as you all now know. It took me another six months of thinking about it to decide to thoroughly research this social site for gamers. In mid January of this year I told John we were a go and the rest is history. Our vision for the site was a simple one. Create a place for gamers and people in the gaming industry to meet and have open dialog about the industry. It would be a place for people to find games to play and for the industry to expose their products to the RPG world. Most importantly this site had to cater to the average role-player. I think we’re off to a good start. Most importantly we want this to be your site. Your profile is your site. When you talk to your friends we want you to say, "Have you seen my site on RPGBOMB.com?" Why? Because this is the best way for the site to grow. Word of mouth is how we reached 500 members so quickly. More members on the site will translate to more benefits for all members. There are a few gaming publishers already on the site conducting contests to give away free products. The more members we have the more publishers we will have promoting their products. If you would like to volunteer your time on RPGBOMB you can contact me at doug@rpgbomb.com. We are always looking for people to help promote the site at their local convention. We are also always looking for a few good people to be moderators on the forums. Thanks, Doug
At the top of the page on the top most bar you will see our dice roller. We hope you like it. Enjoy!
