Hmm, what to say? I'm not much on blogging. Never kept a journal growing up, even when it was an assignment in school. I just sort of scribbled down a few events of the day and that was that.
Hmm, well, I don't know if there's a policy against pimping your business here. I've seen a few others do so, so I guess it's alright.
I'm just getting started with my own publishing business. I've got several projects that I've been working on in my spare time over the last few years and a couple of them are close to ready for the final stages. I do have some small ideas I'm thinking of putting out as PDF supplements that would be universal to most RPGs, mostly for Sci-Fi.
I joined the Game Publishers Association (GPA) a couple of years ago just to get some insight on the business end of things and I have to say that I've learned a thing or two by watching what goes on between companies. I would suggest anyone considering joining to do so as they can help you out by getting your product to conventions that you normally wouldn't be able to attend, at the least they can put up brochures or other sales info so that people will be able to get some idea about what you're selling. I intend to utilize that aspect of my membership as soon as I have something to advertise.
