Greetings from the Lab!
Mind Storm Labs is currently working to deliver the creature manual to you as quickly as possible and are anticipating all artwork, editing, layout and testing will be complete by the end of August and then it will be off to the printer!
We want to provide you all with an idea of what you can expect from the Creature Manual so over the next few months we'll be revealing information about every aspect of the book.
The official title of the creature manual is "The Encountered" as it is a collection of creatures, beings and entities that have been observed, killed, studied or befriended throughout the New World.
The book will contain 5 Creature Types.
The first are called "Freaks of Nature" which are creatures that dwell within the Wilds. They have either been mutated, evolved tangentially from their genetic ancestry or were the results of unnatural breeding between animals that are not naturally compatible. Chemical, Biological and Mutagenic weapons mixed with unhealthy doses of various radiation have had bizarre effects on the wildlife and vegetation of the New World.
The second are called "Tech Fiends" and are a collection of bizarre and horrific combinations of creature and machine, humanoid cyborgs or autonomous droids or robots that have been created for a variety of purposes.
