I would have to say that my burning bush moment occured while I was writing the tools page -- the medium is the message thus the content is the audience, spoken by Marshall McLuhan -- that gave me the clue that I was doing something "different & possibly unique". In the realm of game shows, reality TV such as American Idol, MMORPG's and the growth of the internet as a multimedia public forum, this is the decade where our generation is no longer content to sit & watch others but to also interract & participate in its development. And we're no longer satisfied to sit there mystified either. We want to see how it works; how it's made; and more about the people who are involved because through them, they inspire us to dream, to create, to grow & most importantly, to play. These are the real muses which called me to go on this sojourn in the first place.

Yet, to go on this adventure, one must start from a departure point also commonly known as Point A. But this is more than just a visit; it's a move from one community to forming (and joining others ;) ) another community (Point B). Sure, I'll go back to visit Point A, like the previous 10 or 11 Point A's I've left since 1993 where I poked my head in to see how they're doing if they're still there, that is. This latest Point A however was my exodus from several virtual communities, their respective games, & giving my webspace an extreme makeover which will be an ongoing journey for quite some time. I made sure to grab email addresses, IM info & put some succesion plans into effect. Somewhere on the Guild of Maintainers website, the Vivarium of D'ni's work & discussion about UrU's age classification & cataloguing principles continues on after it had been once my calling for 4 years. Somehow, the Killers of Virtue along with what remains of the Daughters of Lilith/Sadist's Blade continue with other RP groups in CoV & the SilverGuard group which I helped found over 2.5 years ago still remains stronq & true to its principles. And finally, someday my beloved thieving monk, Jur'ni that I've roleplayed off & on for the past 5 years will return to Thain to marry her true love & have a child before she ascends into the afterlife. :D
But with me, I carry on this new path of discovery lots of good memories and lessons learned and hopefully, out of all of this which I've left behind, I can call upon these best practices to make NeoPanqea the most fulfilling and gratifying roleplaying experience for my community of players & me yet.
