OGC 2008: The Year of the Superhero rocked!!!
OGC 2008: The Year of the Superhero was a fantastic success! The staff wishes to thank our fabulous guests of honor, Frank Mentzer, John Terra, Andre Kruppa, Jay Libby, and Otto Blix for coming out and running such wonderful events that the con was buzzing about them all weekend. 
We'd also like to thank all the GM's that showed up to run events and the players who showed up to play them. All the work we do to prepare for OGC would be for nothing without all of you. Thank you for five super years (and counting) of con fun! 
RPGBomb also had a table at the con, so a big shout out to KillerDM and Docurban for coming. Since many of our staff are active members here, we featured a space on the con badges for RPGBomb screennames. It was very cool to meet new people, and also to connect faces and names with the screennames we interact with here on the site.  OGC would also like to send a big thank you to RPGBomb.com for helping OGC have Frank Mentzer as a guest of honor.
Keep an eye out as soon I will be posting some of the comments from the Pithy Comment Pitcher here. For those of you who don't know what that is, every year we feature witty sayings or comments on the 3-day attendee badges. These comments are generated each year in the games at OGC, written down by those who said or heard them, and used on the following year's badges. As soon as the new list is ready, you'll be seeing selections . . .
In the meantime, we'll be enjoying the momentary quiet before rushing headlong into preparation for next year. We're looking forward to making OGC 2009 even better! Thank you all once again!!
