We want to give you a sneak peek of a creature currently being designed called,
Champion of the Damned. When we create a creature we start with a description, move to rough sketches, then to a pencil design (like this one) and then once it's approved it moves on to a color illustration.
You can get a sense of scale by looking at the human outline at the bottom right. Many of the creatures in the book will include not only full color designs but also orthographic layouts with a comparison to a humanoid to give you a sense of their size.
And oh yes, the humans attached to its body are still alive......
