Giant Monster Rampage at the LGS!!!
Today we had a butt-kicking good time at Adventures in Gaming!!! We started out small with Jim and I duking it out. Next Dave joined and then soon 5 more people shortly after!!! Unfortunately my old stand by King Ghidorah went down in a hail of fire from Ogrethulhu. Also Mechagodzilla, Biolante, Godzilla 2000, Meltdown Godzilla, Gamera (Heisei era), Space Godzilla and Cthulhu showed up to stomp the town. Unfortunately we had to wrap up at 5pm so the battle went mostly unfinished. One highlight of the game was getting to draw first blood on Gamera with Meltdown Godzilla!!! So for the next few weekends I will be bringing all the stuff down to the shop. Only next time we'll be playing in the downstairs so we can play after the upstairs closes and really tear it up!!!

I love the rules you can build some really wonderful monsters and the combat is smooth and quickly resolved.

That sounds pretty fun, do you have pictures of the game board or figures you were using?  I won't use the term miniature, since none of those monsters are in anyway small.

Thought about it. But since I have sooooooooooooo much stuff for GMR I won't be getting into it. I will probably take a look at what guys at the store buy. Besides I helped write the second book World War for GMR, I can't bail on it now.

You might also be interested in Monsterapocalypse.  I believe Privateer Press is putting it out.  Essential a Collectable Figures game with the same premise.
