Aw man, I have been introduced to this from another one of my forums, and I was hooked the second I saw it. I can't wait for the DVD to come out, as it's going to be one of the first things into my personal collection.
I just hope that if he does another project like this, he might open up the casting to the general public. I'd do a project like this for next to nothing save for the expirence
Yeah, the DVD thing isn't a rumor at all, it was planned from the beginning if you read Mr. Whedon's letter on the site. I hear there's supposed to be some special stuff on the DVDs as well and I've heard that they made an announcement at Comic-Con that they're doing another part (one act or several, who knows?!!) as well. :) I saw the shirts and I'm still about an inch away from getting one. I'm still hopeful on the idea of a soundtrack, though.
Something I found amazing: only days after it had come out I saw a man dressed up as Dr. Horrible at Comic-Con. I was dumbfounded and I wish I had gotten a picture - he did a really awesome job on the costume, too.
Honestly, I wish they'd get along and put out a soundtrack already. I get these songs stuck in my head with such frequency it's disconcerting and bordering on distracting.
Sometimes I have to all but gag myself from singing Laundry Day (Freeze Ray) from the first act.
I've heard rumors that they are putting out a DVD soon and if you google around a bit...the t-shirts are available. My friend is frantically searching the web for the lab coat for Halloween. I just pray that he doesn't actually try to sing. Bad, that would be really bad.

Watched the whole thing. Hilarious! I'm a Josh Whedon fan anyway.
Me too! Reminds me alot of Buffy, the musical. My favorite part is near the end when Captain Hammer is singing "everybody is a hero". So NOT politically correct, it cracks me up and as a 20+ year human service worker veteran, I shouldn't admit that! *lol*
