I'ts been over a week now, and I haven't posted anything about GenCon. It's just too big. Everytime I start to write something I get bogged down. There's so much to say. An event like this one generates lots of stories and I want to tell them all, but I just don't have the time. So it's time to compromise. I'll hit some highlights and hopefully expand on it all later. (yeah, right.) So what kind of cool stuff went down at GenCon?
- Morton's List: An interesting idea, but my group kinda got a bad roll. I mean, really. A bunch of gamers are supposed to run for an hour? Failed CON rolls for everybody!
- True Dungeon: Awesome, awesome, awesome. Next year I'm signing up early so I don't get stuck with the last ticket and a timeslot that whacks out my whole schedule.
- Three Stargate games by a great GM. I definitely need to write more about this.
- Cheese Weasels! Hit up 50 vendors in the exhibition room for game demos? Sure! No, problem!
- Bear Wins! No, that's all you get. I'm not explaining it. :-P
- Fear the Boot! I partied with the best gaming podcast in the industry. The faces just never match the voices, y'know?
Yeah, it's a bit cryptic, but if I don't post it now, I might never do it. Aaaaaand....SUBMIT!
