I finally managed to make a new design that fits the new of RPGBomb.
Of course, it looks just right in Firefox and Opera, but not in Internet Explorer 6. Thanks to the guys from Redmond for following international Web Standards to the letter. Maybe someone with IE7 (or IE8 Beta) can point out if this look okay on newer versions of this dreaded piece of software?
But, as it goes, I'm far more interested in the new Vassal40k Module, which released Version 5 some time ago.
For those of you that don't know it, Vassal is a java-based engine for playing tabletops and stuff on your computer. And the friendly guys from Vassal40k (http://www.vassal40k.com) have put together a module to play your favorite Wargame, isn't that nice of them?
Of course it's freeware, but since the module does not enforce rules of any kind, you need your rulebooks and codices and stuff when you want to play - but that was to expected, as GW hasn't brought the hammer of law down on their puny free-for-all project.
So, if one of you guys want to pick up a fight, get over there and take a look at it, I'm itching for some action ;)
Oh, and by the way.. the "Marine Chapter Competition" at the Vassal40k-site is also presenting the entries for "the best fan-made color scheme gets a whole chapter included in the next release, and of course, my personal entry is there as well. So, if you're there, pick one you like, or even better, pick mine.
And to top things, check out this link... http://www.gamespot.com/news/6166560.html?sid=6166560
Maybe I'll invent a time machine or go to cryostasis to spare me the agonizing waiting.
And if this blighted blog-write-thingy here stops messing up my inserted links (maybe I'm just stupid), I just might include them in a proper way ^^
