MY RATING: 0.00

Clive Barker, Bruce Sterling, William Gibson, Roger Zelazny

drum n bass, dubstep, breakcore, hardtek, death metal, jazz, a few rock bands like Killing Joke, L7 or Frank Black and the Catholics, rpg podcasts (that's a withdrawal symptom)

About TV shows I loved Twin Peaks (series and movie), Carnivale, Firefly. Movie wise I could say : Seven Samurai (at least twice a year), any Terry Gilliam's movies, most of David Lynch's, most Bertrand Blier's, Hayao Miyazaki's, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Pedro Almodovar's. I'm usually faithful to directors who made me fall into the picture. Fido, Shaun of the Dead, Bad Boy Bubby...

Connecticut (near Hartford)

Storyteller

I may enjoy some but they aren't really rpg in my mind, completely different animals.

World of Darkness (Vampire or Mage), Paranoia, Reve de Dragon
I'm willing to try new RPGs

No thanks, been trying to quit

Absolutely not! No face rubbing intended. I just got to looking at my friends list and saw that

there were several glaring omissions. So I sent out a few invites.

Thanks - the dungeon crawl is coming up - they are finally in the Well.  :)  I got a bit too fancy with my intro and we ended up role playing instead of monster smashing - but a little tone never hurts.  If you are interested I can work you in wihtout too much trouble.

I'm impressed unquietsoul, crafting a campaign at the turn of the XIXth century in France is very ambitious IMHO. And it's a frenchie telling you this ! I read a couple of books about the revolution, the directory and the first empire, and my mind was buzzing and overload with information. It's a very dense setting, packed with events and international interactions. So "chapeau bas monsieur" ! I don't know if there is any transcript of the campaign but I would be very interested in reading any if it exists.

Thank you. It's been an interesting game to set up, and I had a lot of useful history books to draw on (like the biography of Madame De Staid).  I centered in on the 'year of peace' period for the campaign, after the temporary treaty and before Napoleon had been crowned Emperor.

We haevn't really done a chronicle of the events, but the players have had effect on history and are moving up politically in hopes of siderailing the history timeline and making their own personal goals as well. They are mid-way thru 1802 at this point and heading for the first 'stop point' of the campaign in about 2 weeks (where I get to take a rest and someone else GMs something else for 6 weeks or so).

That is one awesome Pikathulhu! After having a house full of Pokemon stuff from three kids, it's great seeing a little bit of dark humor brought the the electric rat. Thanks for the chuckle.
