I will read just about anything that peaks my interest. What peaks my interest most? Well, aside from historical, archaeological, anthroplogical and other academic books it's mostly science fiction ranging from Herbert ro Dietz.
I do try to read some fantasy novels but have to admit that it takes a good one to hold my attention. Martin's "Game of Thrones" works are one of the few that have gripped me and they are just barely fantasy novels in my opinion.
I dig alternate history, but this is likely an offshoot of my interest in history. I don't think you can study history without playing the "what-if" game occasionally.
Oh, and then there are comic books. I'm a sucker for comics good and bad. Superheroes, adventure stories, detective comics.

Ummm.....um....
No, seriously, gaming is my primary outlet. I've got a family and that and work take up most of my time. If I'm not gaming, I am likely socializing with other family friends.
When I do break away from the dice it's to read, see a movie, go to a show, etc.

This section is always tough to fill. There are just too many to list. I like sci-fi, fantasy, thrillers, horror and even the occasional drama.

OOOOoo..shiney. Hordes/Warmachine. Rattrap Games (.45 Adventure, Gloire, Fantastic Worlds), Super System, Aeronef, Land Ironclads. A lot of homebrew stuff too.
I tend to play in 15mm for army-based games and save 28mm for skirmish games. I am interested in, but haven't done much with 6mm. I have the beginnings of a Napoleonic era British fleet in 1/1200.

I never get to touch my console and computer RPGs cut into my tabletop time.

ANYTHING!!! Love board games. Searching for good two-player games for me and the wife and me and my kids. Also searching for challenging but family-friendly games.
|
|
Not since my days of the SCA (Waaaaaaaaayy back).

D&D, Champions, Two-Fisted Tales, D6, and anything else I can find and/or play. Lately I have a couple of new favorites "Hollow Earth Expedition" and "Blue Planet".
There is also a fun little game called "Tales from the Wood". It is a great game easily accessible to both children and grown-ups.

Well, was pretty much out of them, but it looks like Champions Online will drag me back in.

|
Nope. Used to be heavily into L5R and Jihad, but nothing much at all since.

Snobbery of any sort. There is just no place for it, in my opinion. Everyone's got their tastes and even though it may not be my favorite thing in the universe, I'm sure it has value for somebody else.
Overbearing players. Whether it is forcoing your actions on an RPG party, throwing your victories in the face of other minis gamers or shoving your version of the rules down someone's throat I find it most off-putting.

Alas, they are a dying breed and I have none.
