Who are we?
We ARE, the Plymouth State University Gaming Club. We’re a group of students, staff, and community members dedicated to gaming of any and all types. Our charter is to bring gaming to the masses as best we can. It doesn’t matter what kind of game. We play role-playing games, board games, miniature war games, collectable card games, & the occasional video game as well.
What are we offering?
For over a decade now we have been organizing a gaming convention known to the masses as EconoCon. The first con was organized by the original Plymouth State College Roleplaying club as a way to connect with other gamers in the area and spread the word. That mission hasn’t changed even though the membership and name of the club has.
Each year we still organize EconoCon, a small-sized convention centered around all thing gaming. Just like any other convention we offer our guests the chance to play the games they love or learn a few new ones, talk with our guest of honor, listen to a panel or two, or just relax and have fun with fellow gaming types. All this for a price that’s affordable for any gamer.
This years EconoCon XIII : Where gamers get lucky! will be on April 10&11 at the Plymouth State University, in the Hartman Union Building. We get to take over the ENTIRE BUILDING for a whole weekend to goof off and have a good time. This years guest of honor is Andrew Greenberg, formerly of White Wolf Games and now working with Holistic Design Inc. Brad Younie from Carnivore Games will also be in attendance, along with representatives from Steve Jackson Games and Wizards of the Coast. For more information, check out our awesome website! Click on the EconoCon tab and all our updated information will be there, we promise.
