I guess we could start with this web page. My thumbnail is from the Sumerian myth of Gilgamesh when he and Enkidu slew the bull of heaven. The painting on my main page is a picture of the sunset in ancient Babylon. The tower being built is the tower of Babel. I thought of running a campaign based on ancient Sumerian mythology at one point but never got past the research phase so I put all of this up as a tribute to all the things I found out. For those of you who haven't read the epic Gilgamesh then he and his brother Enkidu first kill Humbabwa who was guarding some cedar trees that they wanted, then when the gods became angry and sent the bull of heaven after them they killed it too so the Gods decided to punish Enkidu not by defeating him in combat but by giving him a fatal illness. The whole thing reminds me of Killer DM's campaigns-you might think you're strong enough but he'll get you in the end somehow. ;)
