Hey! I just wanted to say hey and that I have played both T&T(love it ) and MERP(it has been a while but from what I remember it was fun!). I always wanted to run a middle Earth game with T&T or C&C. I just never seem to have the time. When you live with your players they seem to pounce on any free time you have .

Right now besides running a C&C game im creating a module for publication. Do you guys play any C&C?

Hey Laggy. It's going fine, in the last semester now. I'm currently playtesting an awesome RPG, but it's hush hush at the moment haha. I've been drowned in work and I've started doing freelance reviews for a local magazine and a gaming website, so I haven't had a lot of time to game. What about you?

Work and writing. Finsished a superhero short story. Now needing to work on my own scenarios as well. Trying to do some chatroom RPG's for some friends that I feel that I have been neglecting. But now they're too busy. What in the world... ?

How's school going? You getting in any gaming?

Oh yes, I know of Rolemaster's stupidly crunchy system. I'd probably play with 2 others if I got MERP. However I'm a fluff supporter, the lighter and more abstract the better in most cases. You played Tunnels and Trolls?

I never tried T&T as I was already swamped by D&D, RuneQuest, WFRP and MERP. I've heard good things, though.

Haha, I see. It's one of those games that I've always meant to get my mitts on but never got round to it. But I'm glad you told me that it's ridiculously crunchy, probably buy it still but not play it

If you do get it, don't be dissapointed by the sheer lack of atmosphere in the book! But the Angus McBride pictures are gorgeous, and all you need is Howard Shore in the background and you're done. It's not a bad game, but if you have any more than two/three players it's a bookkeeping nightmare. I've played Rolemaster, which is even crunchier, with five other people and I just wanted to tear my hair out. And theirs.

Just noticed that you're a fellow countryman, kudos to you.

Tip o' the hat to you, too, kind sir. Bit blustery down here in Lichfield - good ol' blighty weather.

Wow, you don't see much MERP going on anymore. Do you still play?

I've not played for about five or six years. It was the first full-on fantasy campaign I got really stuck into and got me into proper storytelling games so I've always had a soft spot for it. It's overly complicated and you need a math doctorate to play it, but I like it. I've known and gamed with dozens of people over the years and only two other gamers would ever play it with me, and that was only because they were Tolkien fans. I just keep the boxset for sentimental reasons, now. *sniff*

Haha, I ordered the latest edition of Hobbit Hole a couple of weeks ago, so it should be here soon can't wait to read it.

Lemme know when you get it. In case Shippy, James Shipman, forgets to mail me my copy. I get one for free as I have an article in it this time around.
