Hey guys - I've got a burning question (much like the feeling you get peeing a few days after a trip to Tijuana):
Regarding travel through The Warp - what is the smallest size that a ship can be in order to do this?
I know that in Inquisitor, the Guncutter was rather on the small side at 80 meters, and the one in Eye of Terror was even smaller - about 35-40 meters from stem to sturn.
Here's where I'm going with this. I have Dash Rendar's Outrider, from Star Wars. It's built to hold one 3 3/4" figure - and (like most Star Wars toys, to be completely honest) is terribly out of proportion. However - I think it'd be a perfect match for miniature games set in 40K - specifically for my Inquisitor figure.
As a modified YT-2400, the ship's stats place it at 22 meters long and 26.7 meters wide, with room for 1 pilot, 1 co-pilot, and 2 gunners - along with 4 passengers. There's a cargo capacity of 70metric tons and 2 consumables for months.
Now, assuming that aside from the pilot and Navigator that the gunner slots were taken up by servitors - would any of you have a large problem were this brought into a game you were playing as a ship capable of traversing The Warp?
I consider myself pretty up on fluff (well, okay, I'm a fluff nazi) and can't really see a big problem here - but I would like some second opinions.
