Iron Gamemaster III
This time around, I thought I'd throw out a random title and see what folks came up with for it. Based on a title alone, brainstorm a setting and perhaps a few characters and mecha. The name may be goofy or even seem a bit contrived, but that is intentional.

The title is "Xeon Rider"

In the near future, the world wide web is an omnipresent entity.  The internet isn't just something you log onto with your laptop.  Thanks to holographs, tracking and perception implants, and sensor devices, it's a real world element.  It permeates the life of the modern man.  It has become a critical backbone of society.

However, as with any critical infrastructure, it must be defended.  To this end a special team has been formed, the Xeon Riders (or X-Runners).  Implanted with advanced neuro-virtual equipment and supplied the latest wetware by a team of crack programmers, the Xeon Riders patrol the virtual mindscape like the lawmen of the old west.

The programs used by the Xeon Riders are their Mekton machines, only realized as computer software instead of a real armored vehicle.  (Apologies to Virtual Mekton for ripping off their idea wholesale.)  Programmers will be able to design new software to serve a variety of virtual purposes.  And just because the mecha action takes place in the net doesn't mean our heroes get a free ride in the meatworld.  Those performing nefarious deeds in virtual space haven't forgotten that actions in the real world can have just as much impact.

The Xeon Rider is a mystrious hero who sometimes fights in his bio-armor suit, sometimes merging with his motorcycle to form Xeon Rider Motoform, and sometimes astride the mighty Xeon Rider Dinogoram dinosaur robot beast!  When not in his Xeon Rider form, our hero, Kiro Hume is an investigator for the Seron City Times and is accompanied by his photographer Dak Shinjuku, and fellow/rival journalist and potential love interest Kamia Ven.   Kiro was given his bio-armor by a dying warrior of the Zankoran Elite who fell on Earth while trying to stop an invasion by the evil shape-shifting Kuroidian Marauders.  The warrior's ship contained the equipment to create three other suits, two of which are handed to Dak and eventually Kamia as they discover our hero's secret, each obtaining equipment and powers of their own.  At first the fight a secret war in the nighttime alleys of Seron City as the weakened, but not defeated, Kuroidian Marauders obtain resources to regroup their scattered warriors and equipment.  Eventually, however, The Marauders recover their mighty Bioroid Advancers, giant roboform warriors that Xenon Rider and his companions must face in their own Xeon Strider.

Apologies to the following:
Sentais in general, Kamen Rider, Guyver

Hmmm, people already have such awesome ideas.  Anyways here it goes....

On the failed colony of Xeon, civilization has nearly collapsed.  Roving gangs have turned most of Xeon in to lawless land.  Only the Xeon Riders can bring peace to this land.

As one would expect the PCs would be Xeon Riders, a group not unlike Canadian Mounties or Texas Rangers, using advanced Roadstrikers to tame the frontier of Xeon.  They would face gangs which would have inferior equipment, but make up in large numbers and ruthless tactics.

It's a tough competition this time and I liked the detail Gabriel went into but for me Banzai's had the more "Mekton-y" feel to it.

I dunno Veez, yours also has that Mekton ring to it. Gabriel's was really detailed, but it does seem to only have a superficial mekton feel. I get this whole Mekton overly on the Matrix.

All of them are awesome and I'd play any in a heartbeat.
