But Why?

Although recently I've been using some commercial game systems (GURPS, Hero) I have a tendency to prefer to create my own game systems. This can be considered a bit weird or odd by some folks, and even put others off, since it means having to learn a new system to game with me.

Open Design 6 seeking Patrons! (3.5)
I'd mentioned Open Design's 4E project, but forgot to post about the 3.5 projects that are also currently open for patronage.

Composite & Collage Design
I think of tabletop roleplaying gaming with many hats. These include player, game manager, scenario design, worldsmith and game designer. Game Design: Episode III: Attack of the Tanks

At the end of the last chapter of my game design story, my starship game had been temporarily forgotten because of some neat new toys...
