MY RATING: 9.99

I love to listen to live bands, hang out with friends - we don't have to be gaming all the time to just hang out. Either way it's still fun. A lot of times I'll hang out down at the swimming pool during the week and try to get some exercise. It's good for my joints.

Television today has absolutely no meaningful shows on whatsoever (my god I sound like my mom, may she RIP...). The reality-shows, court shows, talk shows, and teen angst shows have gotten pretty fracking ridiculous over the last 10 or so years. When I DO watch anything on television, I watch re-runs from the '80s and '90s like Knight Rider, Cheers, The Golden Girls, Roseanne, Frasier, Home Improvement, Charmed, The Greatest American Hero, Robotech, She-Ra/He-Man, Transformers cartoons from the '80s, and Voltron. Yes I am VERY nostalgic! haha. Any newer shows I am *very* picky about, and they are Heroes, Chuck, The Boondocks, The Daily Show, some shows from The Weather Channel, Secrets of Louisville's Chefs (haha it's a local thing), anime, and NFL when it's in season.

Star Wars novels, Harry Potter series, various other fantasy, sci-fi, and mystery.

Louisville, KY

WoW TCG, Magic: The Gathering, which I haven't done in years. Non-TCG's like Apples to Apples, Bell-bottom Badasses, and Munchkin series.

Warhammer Fantasy RPG, Palladium Fantasy RPG, D&D 3rd, AD&D, Cyberpunk, Heroes Unlimited.

I don't do Live Action. Sorry.

I'm not too much into miniatures, but AT-43 is piquing my interest. My bf loves Hordes and plays it like no tomorrow, though.

Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Zombies! Classic board games like Monopoly. There are a bunch of others but I can't think of them right now.

Little bit of WoW when I'm in the mood and Guild Wars. Those two are really the only ones I like. I tried Tibia for awhile but it got boring too fast.

Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, classic NES and SNES. I have a crappy computer so I can't run very much :(

Well games, of course, plus swimming, soaking up sun (as much as a redhead should), reading books, listening to music, watching movies, some television, cooking, weather, short story writing, paragraph-based RPG's and Star Wars fan-fic.

People who are disrespectful and have no common sense. Cliques, bigots, preps...etc., people that think that others must fit into their little mold, organized religion, the list goes on and on.

"There is something in D&D that strikes a chord in many people; the call of adventure."

-- D&D co-creator Gary Gygax

I'm relatively new to RPG's and the like, having only been into it for about 4 years now. I've been into console gaming for most of my life, though. I was raised on the classic NES games and SNES. Wasn't much of a Genesis fan, though.

I have a condition that many know as RA - rheumatoid arthritis, so if there are times when I seem like I'm out of it, that would be the culprit. Basically most of the joints in my body are inflamed, causing them to hurt and stiffen when I sit for prolonged periods, mostly more than 30 minutes at a time. No one knows the exact cause, though. That's still being researched.

Do you want my simple belief...? Here it is anyway whether you want it or not.... There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophy. Our own mind, our own heart is our temple. The philosophy is simply... kindness. All haters, racists, and those who are unkind will reap what they sew.

To one child of the 80s to another, this site will make you remember the good times when the best toons came on on Saturday morning and that when Solid Gold aired the world seemed grayer.  Check it out,

Brian

Wow, there is a lot of stuff on your page. But you watch 80's cartoons, so it's all good.  :)
