So OGC has come and gone and i have been reflecting on the events all week. I have finally decided to stop procrastinating about posting and post my thoughts. This is my fourth year in attending OGC and also the first year i have attended in its entirety. Previous years i had attended only one or two days due to work and other games that i was in. I could go on about the games i played in at length (and i almost did) but i shall keep this blog short and sweet. So here is a list of highlights in the games i played.
Contracting Lycanthropy and trying to eat the party in my friend John's (AKA NineHands) Iron Heroes game.
Completely slicing off the armor of techno-organic star fighter thing in my friend TJ's Operation Rimfire Genesis.
Knocking out Sabertooth while playing the Rhino during Mojo's Palace of Death Run By John and Otto Blix.
Taking a sever beating with chains and shrugging it off in John's Robotech: Paint the Town Red
Blipping around the map at will as Skywarp in TJ's mekton based Transformers Brawl. Going into silent tiraids as Starscreem when his vocalizer was damaged was also very amusing.
Finally in John Terra's (AKA StupidSmurf) Call of Cthulu: Everyone dies going absolutely nuts in the first five minutes was really amusing. I also came up with the winning move of attacking after we ether bombed the possessed professor's summons as apposed to waiting it out until dawn. (waiting would have brought down more summoned horrors on our heads) The best part of this game was a spontaneous blackout which completely darkened the entire room while i was in the middle of reading the creepy journal of the Professor.
I had a lot of fun throughout OGC. The part i enjoy most about cons are playing games that i don't get to such as Iron heroes, Mutants and Masterminds and call of Cthulu. I can't wait until next year especially with the theme, EVIL WINS! It should be awesome to get my evil on. See you all there!
