The Vultures had brought him some new salvage early this morning.  There were body parts, organs, and some cyber.  He counted in the new stock, and began to prepare it for purchase.  There wasn’t much he could do for most of it other than tissue typing, but there were two hearts and a liver that were still good.  The wild-eyed Vultures had left quickly, ready to spend the NCD he’d given them on some more drugs, probably.

As he looked over the cyber, however, he found several pieces that he’d likely make a handsome profit from.  An ultraBlue Clear cybereye, the latest trend from Raven Microcyb.  A hand, loaded out with rippers and the housing for what appeared to be a spool of monowire.

And a cyberskull array from a full ‘borg.  The eyes were still intact, but the lower jaw had been blown off by something.  Someone would want that, most certainly; the damned things were built to take antitank rounds.  

Doc Carnie put them all in the particular wire basket bin where he kept his most valuable finds, and turned the smartlock on it to the closed position.  The Grand Circus of the Blacktop was about to hit the road, and he had to get his own Combi geared up to roll.

He didn’t notice that, as he turned away from the bin, the eyes in the cyberskull array slowly followed his movements.
